Electro-Mechanical Technician // TORRANCE, CA

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Unify, add resources, and manage our project management team 
  • Oversee resource assignments and project issue resolution

All Access seeks a motivated, detail-oriented project manager looking to work long term in the entertainment industry. The project manager will work closely with technical design staff, sales associates, fabrication manager, and rental leads to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner while staying on budget. The Welder is responsible for the layout, fit, and fabrication of steel and aluminum components into structural forms, such as decks frames, stairs units, and decorative stage elements.  Necessary skills include: ability to read and follow design and technical documents, verification of part compatibility between sections of the project, and maintaining a high standard of final weld.  This is a non-exempt hourly position that includes eligibility for PTO, health insurance, and 401k program after probationary period.

A qualified candidate will work closely with technical design staff, sales associates, and rental leads to produce detailed 3D drawings and layouts for live events and productions all over the world.

  • Design, model, annotate, and itemize stage structures and effects for television, music, corporate, touring, and other live entertainment events.
  • Generate 3D stage layouts and construction drawings using VectorWorks.
  • Collaborate with staff designers to layout and detail technical designs for lifts, stage components, mechanical, hydraulic and other special effects using VectorWorks and Autodesk Inventor.
  • Communicate with sales associates, project managers, rental leads and fabricators to develop models and layouts for production needs.
