Class A Driver

SUMMARY:

The Class A driver is responsible for delivering and picking up staging equipment in a safe and timely fashion, while maintaining All Access trucks and gear.  It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the load while also remaining prompt and customer oriented.  The ideal candidate must have commercial driving experience and knowledge of the local Los Angeles area.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Operate within standard operating and safety procedures
• Liaise and communicate well with other departments in finishing projects in a timely manner and quality fashion
• Complete all assigned crew training modules
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections
• Secure and transport stage equipment loads, primarily throughout the Los Angeles area
• Help load and unload trucks
• Keep inside and outside of truck clean
• Maintain trip logs as required by DOT
• Occasionally assist with general warehouse duties and job preparation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Documentation of clean DMV record
• At least two years of commercial driving experience
• Flatbed driving experience is a plus
• Local LA-area knowledge
• Reliable transportation
• Clean and neat appearance
• Ability to work weekends, nights, split-shifts, and overtime
• Familiarity with requirements of touring equipment and terminology a plus
• English speaking preferred, bilingual a plus

• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Visual abilities include close vision and the ability to focus
• Ability to regularly lift 50 – 75 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work with small hand and power tools
• Must be able to follow direction
• A positive attitude and punctuality is a must
