Golf comes to Safeco Field
On Feb 17, Topgolf launched its Topgolf Crush tour, starting in Seattle, WA, at Safeco Field, home of the Mariners. Golf enthusiasts — from newbies to pros — can now enjoy the fun, cutting-edge Topgolf experience like never before.
Topgolf Crush is similar to the standard Topgolf game, but with a twist. Take a swing at various targets to earn points, using Toptracer technology to track your balls’ trajectory, while enjoying a party-like atmosphere with food, drink, and music. The difference? The entire game takes place in a sports stadium. At Safeco Field, participants drove balls from the grandstands at targets on the field.
All Access provided all the custom structures for the event. We built the 20-foot, 40-foot, and 60-foot targets, placed 40-150 yards away from hitting bays in the stands. We provided two 88-foot-wide hitting bays and one ADA bay. Each hitting bay is divided into 11 smaller bays, which up to eight people can share at a time. Each bay features a monitor, showing the path of the ball and players’ points, using the Toptracer tracking technology.
The Topgolf Crush structures are custom-made for touring, which means they are designed to be durable, as well as deploy and transport easily and efficiently. The structures required four semi-trucks for transport. We designed the Topgolf Crush structures to work in any sports stadium — baseball stadiums, football stadiums, racetracks, and more.
The tour’s next stop is in Orlando, FL, at Camping World Stadium, March 10-12. Don’t miss it!
